2 climbers at 5,800′ trying to get from glacier to the Railroad Grade. One fell into bergschrund injuring arm and getting wet, concern of hypothermia. They were scared and wanted BMRC to come get them. Due to clouds no aircraft would fly. Had phone contact with the party and told them to self splint, eat, and start hiking out to prevent getting cold; it would be awhile before BMRC could arrive. BORSTAR evaluated the possibility of flying into the area for a rescuer drop to shorten the time to get to the subjects but weather wasn’t cooperating.
Chris and TJ were on their way to Erie to climb so they diverted to Schrieber’s Meadows, hiked to the party that was in the process of hiking out. They evaluated their condition and hiked them out to the trailhead.
